Description and
type: Reached from San Carlos by taking the asphalted road and following the
relevant signs. The existence of some steep stairs from the carpark down a
the sand may make it tiring and somewhat difficult of access, and it is thus
not recommended for the physically disabled or those of very advanced years.

Composition: Very fine dark sand of natural origin.
Sea botam: The same dark sand. The gradient is very gentle, and at 10 metres
from the shore the depth does not exceed 0.75 metres; not until 20 metres out
does it reach 2 metres in depth.
Direction, prevailing winds: Its southerly orientation ensures that sea winds
of a light character predominate, giving great security a bathing.
Panoramic aspects: The orography of the actual cove with dark and very fine
sand, and the striking clearness of the water makes this a charming enclave.
