That is essentially the beaches because they are great, there is not much else to do and you want to get a good tan. There are bars and restaurants, you can rest or look at the pretty girls in their string- tangas and the tanned boys. On some beaches music is played all day long, the sea is sublime, turquoise blue and warm as well, a dream.
We propose a tour of the beaches of Ibiza and
Formentera, particularly the three most famous ones: Playa des
Cavallet, Playa den Bossa and of course Playa de Las Salinas. Afterwards you should visit a place such as the Café del Mar to watch the sunset.
The sunsets on Ibiza are legendary, specially in San Antonio, where the bay offers fantastic views. Apart from the sunset itself the sunset cafés, which have become real institutions, attract the crowds. You can sit there and have a drink while listening to the ambient music mixed by the Resident DJs ( Compilations come out every year ).
Café del Mar, calle Vara de
Rey, San Antonio. A bar you have to visit right by the sea. Watching the sunset is a tradition in the bay. The old Resident DJ Jose Padilla relaxes again on the beach and lets
Bruno Lepretre be in charge of playing the music which provides the great
ambience.

Café Mambo, right next to the Café del Mar. Another good spot to watch the sunset and a cosy bar where you can start the evening before visiting the discotheques. Resident DJ Pete Gooding regularly welcomes the best DJs of the
season.
A bit further away are El Divino Sunset Bar, calle Vara de
Rey, Kanya Sunset Café and Kasbah, calla des Moro.
